CLLA Comments On CFPB's Proposed Rule

The CLLA has issued a statement on the rule proposed by the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau regarding the Confidential Treatment of Privileged Information (the “Proposed Rule”). In a letter sent to CFPB on May 21, the League stressed its belief that the rule directly contradicts attorney-client privilege and the work product doctrine.
